Our story
Athens‑born. Hospitality‑trained. Quietly exacting.
Shagaf Salon exists because “clean enough” is never enough when your floors are stone, your air is shared, and your schedule is unforgiving. We’re a small company by choice — every supervisor still carries a cloth.
Why “salon”?
In the classical sense: a room where work is refined slowly. We don’t race through visits. We sculpt them — one surface type at a time — so the result feels serene, not sterilised.
- Named account leads who read your notes before arrival
- Supply closets photographed for restocking accuracy
- Incident transparency: if something shifts, you hear from us first
Milestones
A short arc — because longevity in this trade is measured in retention, not headlines.
-
2016 · Foundation
Founder leads training sprints with housekeeping teams from Cycladic boutique hotels — discipline transfers to mainland homes.
-
2019 · Shagaf Salon formalises
Private waitlist opens in central Athens; first recurring “quiet hour” programs for shift workers.
-
2023 · Commercial atelier lane
Small studios and galleries request morning opens; we standardise noise‑aware protocols.
-
Today · Attica only
We keep geography tight to protect punctuality and supervisor oversight — shagafsalon.com reflects that focus.
Principles we charge for
If it’s not on this list, we probably discuss it before we invoice it.
Truth in chemistry
We publish SDS summaries on request and default to EU‑labelled concentrates with measured dilution.
Dignity in entry
Shoe covers, door wedges, and voice‑low rotations in hallways — neighbours should never know we’re there.
Ownership of outcome
If a finish reacts unexpectedly, we pause, document, and repair — never hide behind “industry standard.”
